Are you pet friendly?

We welcome polite dogs under 40 pounds. Only one dog per room is allowed and they must remain on a leash whenever they are out of the room. Please register your dog prior to checking in to your room. A $200 non-refundable fee is charged per dog. Licensed service animals are exempt from this fee, but their owners are responsible for any damage to the room. Will we have a view from our room?

Club Rooms and Suites in the main Lodge offer premium views of the Garden of the Gods Park and Pikes Peak. Our Cottages and Casitas were not designed with a view in mind, but rather as an option for more spacious accommodations with modern 4- or 5-piece bathrooms and the guarantee of adjoining rooms when 2 or 3 of the bedrooms in the same unit are reserved. The rows of Cottages and Casitas have a community feel to them and are set back farther on the mesa behind our privately owned Villas.

My flight arrives in Colorado Springs early in the day. Can I get an early check-in?

Guaranteed check-in is at 4:00 PM. You are welcome to arrive earlier, but we are not able to guarantee that a room will be available. If we have a room ready at the time of your arrival, we will check you in to it. If not, we will take your cell phone number and alert you once a room is ready. Meanwhile, you may begin enjoying the amenities of the property and the nearby area. If you would like a guaranteed early check-in, then you have the option of reserving a guest room the night before your arrival.

How long has the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club been in existence?

Al and Margaret Hill’s dream of a private country club began in 1949 with the purchase of the 1,600-acre mesa on which the resort and club now sits. Construction began in 1950 and the Garden of the Gods Club opened in June 1951. In 2007, the Club was opened up to the general public for overnight stays and is now known as Garden of the Gods Resort and Club.
