Ellen believes that health is number one and taking care of yourself both physically and mentally must be a priority. You can’t help the others if you don’t feel good yourself. Eating right and exercising should feel good and make you happy, and it is a lot easier when you make it a habit.
Ellen recommends making health and fitness a lifestyle choice. If you struggle with weight or eating right, change your internal identity. Think of yourself as a healthy person all the way around, not someone who is going on a diet or beginning a fitness routine that might be short term. Ellen states; “I love when I get positive feedback from my clients letting me know that I am making a difference for them.” She is known for her positive attitude, and making workouts fun. Ellen specifically loves to work with people who want to improveflexibility and balance, and to build overall strength. Ellen loves to help others, work out, play golf, cook and spend time with family and friends. Growing and learning new things is always a priority for her. Ellen has been a certified fitness professional for over 20 years. Besides personal training Ellen is certified in life coaching, cycling, strength, yoga, Pilates, water aerobics and stretch and balance and teaches many of these classes for Strata Fit.
